Today’s post is slightly different, as I was contacted by the lovely Mariah at Everything Missguided who was kind enough to nominate me for the Liebster award.
I’d heard a little about this award as I’d read a few of these blog posts by other bloggers, but the last thing I expected was to be nominated myself, so a massive thankyou to Mariah. You should all check out her awesome blog !
So, here are my answers to the questions she asked me…
1. If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
Ohh…that’s a difficult one….
Ok, I think I’d say Daenerys Targaryen from GOT…because I consider her to be my spirit animal. She’s just such a girl boss, very mentally strong and she’s overcome a lot in pursuit of her dreams.
2. What inspired you to begin your blog?
Initially I began blogging so I could create online space where I could share my Experience with Accutane and anything involving skincare in relation to acne prone skin. Now, I’m more keen to include some elements of lifestyle and fashion so watch this space 🙂
3. Who are your favourite bloggers?

4. Favourite TV show?
I’m going to go old school and say One tree hill. Alongside the excellent story lines, there are so many life lessons and messages threaded throughout each series!
5.What have you learnt since starting blogging?
Quality over quantity! Consistency is definitely something I’ve struggled with, due to striving for as much perfection as possible! So I’m currently trying to work on improving my consistency, whilst staying happy with the quality of the blog posts I publish 🙂
6. On a typical Saturday where and what could we find you doing?
Definitely involves a bit of a lie in , followed by drafting some blog posts and business planning, ending with a bit of family time and weekly episode of Casualty!
7.What is something about you that no one knows?
When I was 8 years old I almost lost one my little toes from doing cartwheels in my bedroom!
(Very strange I know…but it’s the only thing I could think of!)
8. Who is your role model and why?
I’d have to say my Grandma! She’s the kindest, most humble person I’ve ever met despite everything she’s been through in life, and she never begrudges people for any wrong doings they inflict upon her! I’d love to be like that at her age!
9.Where do you see yourself in five years?
Happy (cliche,but true lol), and moving closer to achieving my goals and aspirations in life!
10.What is your favourite colour?
Well this is going to sound a bit boring…but I don’t really have one!
10. What film could you never get sick of watching?
August Rush – If your a music lover then it’s a must watch!
